Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies Celebrates the Opening of its Office at Dubai’s Healthcare City

Dubai, UAE – Tuesday, April 15, 2014 – In the presence of Chairperson of Dubai Healthcare City Authority HRH Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein, wife of HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies in the United Arab Emirates today celebrated the opening of the company’snew regional headquarters in the Mohammed Bin Rashid Academic Medical Center at Dubai Healthcare City. Also in attendance were HE Raja Al Gurg, Vice-Chairperson of Dubai Healthcare City Authority, and Michael H. Corbin, U.S. Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, as well as Dubai Healthcare City Management and senior leaders from the company.

Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies opened its doors to the new location last year to extend the company’s commitment to the physicians and patients in the region. The office, home to more than 200 employees, enables stronger engagement with the local healthcare and scientific communities.

As part of the celebration, HRH Princess Haya, upon arrival, was given insight into the history of Johnson & Johnson Joining Her on the short tour wasHE Raja Al Gurg, Ambassador Michael Corbin, DHCC Management and senior leaders of the company. Additionally, HRH Princess Haya unveiled a commemorative plaque to officially open the new regional headquarters. Dr Paul Stoffels, shortly after, emphasized in his remarks the importance of the continued partnership towards improving Healthcare.
